Step into the property and you’re transported to a verdant oasis that’s entirely yours for the day. Primp in the secluded, well-appointed Bridal Cottage while the groom and his buddies chill at the man cave, complete with putting green. Then, when you’re ready to make your entrance, you can join your guests at one of three lovely ceremony sites.
The expansive Gazebo Lawn encompasses two separate areas, each anchored by a fabulous, old-growth tree whose spreading branches act as a canopy as you exchange vows. The lawn also makes an ideal spot for post-ceremony cocktails. But, for maximum “oohs and aahs,” consider the grassy Waterfall Ceremony Site. Friends and family watch as you say “I do” against a spectacular backdrop that features a dramatic rock formation covered with water cascading into a lily pond. As if this wasn’t picturesque enough, the entire area is planted with colorful blooms and exotic vines. And then, just to add some pizzazz, a fire ring in the pond adds a blaze of excitement after dark.
Dinner is served on the Upper Reception Lawn, in the warm glow of lanterns, market lights, and twinkle lights wrapped around the surrounding trees. A sweetheart table can be tucked beneath a bower of illuminated moss, and from this perch you’ll overlook the band shell built right into a rock wall—it’s the perfect stage for your DJ or live music. Dance under the stars or lounge on comfy sofas for some conversation and a nightcap.
Prefer a reception indoors? Then you’re in for a treat because the 4,000-square-foot Tented Pavilion works equally well for large or intimate gatherings. You approach the pavilion through a long pathway of tall, arched branches that glitter like a magical “tunnel of lights”. Once you step inside you can’t help but be impressed: The interior is lavishly draped and decorated with out-of-the-ordinary antique sofas, armoires and chandeliers, all of which lends an elegant touch.
Paradise Falls may still be one of San Diego County’s “best-kept secrets,” but not for long. The new owners have already established a stellar, 25-year track record hosting premier weddings at their other location, Los Willows, so you can expect the same fine catering and professional services at their newest venue!
For over 22 years, weddings have been my passion. I like to think that we are in the “happy” business making dreams come true at each and every celebration. If there are compliments that we hear over and over again, they are, “this place is magical.” My family and I can’t take all the credit since our natural surroundings are definitely the cornerstone to this magnificent place. What I can say is we at Paradise Falls host only one celebration at a time so the entire focus is on you and your special moment, where memories last forever. We invite you to visit Paradise Falls and experience the “magic” for yourselves. You will not be disappointed!
Brandy and Buffy have a really ruff life at Paradise Falls. With over 18 acres to roam around on, you may run into these two on non-wedding days. Brandy’s favorite thing to do is retrieve sticks or in some cases, branches. Buffy prefers to meet and greet with whoever has a treat.
